Bringing D&G to Bracknell

After spending some time in our penthouse in London we moved to our cottage in the North of Bracknell. I brought more of the Dolce & Gabbana Fall Collection 2008 with me to suit the theme of my stay here. What I love about this the collection is that it reminds me of the early sixties in London. I love the texture, flat caps, poor-boy sweaters, country-check shirts, printed silk scarves. I think it is very British.

I combined this look with matching D&G sunglasses and a hair-clip, it's so windy today I needed to keep my hair looking good! We arrived at the place, and I forgot how amazing it looked, the flower field, the huge country sight! I'm in love.

The Floral Efflorescence of Chloé Resort 2013

I'm in the wonderful London wearing pieces from Chloé resort collection 2013! My darling mother managed to have a few couture pieces fly over to London as a welcome surprise for me! I mentioned in my previous post that my mother has her own flower business with one of the many shops established in London.

It was a perfect match with the occasion, especially since some of the pieces are born with their exquisite floral efflorescence. I'm feeling so light and warm today, but it's a pity that the British weather couldn't agree with me! Remember my Martin Margiela Duvet Coat? Lifesaver!

Minty Louis Vuitton

My little niece came over for a visit today! I was really excited to see her again, the little fashionista. I knew this day was coming and planned a little surprise for her. I know she loves, really LOVES Carousels! So I took her to the Friedsam Memorial Carousel in Central Park.

I wore pieces from the Louis Vuitton 2012 Pre-Fall Collection yesterday, and it came in mind that I attended their Carousel themed fashion show last year of the 2012 spring collection featuring Kate Moss! So I wore the pieces of the collection to fit in theme for my little niece! I went on a little ride myself and it felt like I relived the LV Carousel Fashion show!

I took the plane to the UK today to visit my mother who's currently in London. She runs a flower shop business with my aunt and has one of her 56 shops established over there. We have a penthouse in Central London and a little cottage in the North of Bracknell where we're going to stay. 

 

 

By now I think you already know that I dress themed for special occasions! I'm wearing a dress from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall Collection 2008. I love the fur and bolts of British tailoring fabric, I thought it was very cottage themed! Since we're going to spend most of the days in the little cottage, why not bring more of the collection!

I'm starting with this dress for a classy entrance. Wondered how I survived the airport or the plane with the dress? No worries, I've seen enough people with an unpleasant Fashion Roadkill glare. But I did and felt wonderful, that's what matters the most in the end!

Rocking pieces from the Louis Vuitton Pre Fall Collection 2012. I love the fur use, it's creative too in the last outfit! Not to mention the marvelous peach pastel colored dress, I think I'm developing a bit of an obsession for that color. Mint & Peach Pastel?

Look what came in the mailbox yesterday afternoon! The Valentino Resort Collection 2013! I love the colors, all the pieces made me think of sweet sweet candy! But the price of this collection isn't so sweet. Oh Valentino, you did it again!

Atelier Versace Fall 2012

Sunday stroll in Central Park in Versace style! This couture piece is from the Versace Atelier Fall Collection 2012. This outfit definitely belongs to my top five favorites! And believe me, it's incredible comfortable too! It's an outfit to kill for.

Another party with more Armani

Phew! A triple after-work cocktail party! I attended a fashion, cocktail & networking event. After wearing some pieces of the Armani Privé Collection from Fall 2007 I found these ladies hiding all the way in the back of my wardrobe. It's time to impress!

Furs up ladies, it's the new black! I had a little fun time with my friends. We went to a film screening of my favorite movie, East of Eden at the Museum of Modern Art, and a cocktail party afterwards! So I decided to wear couture pieces of the Armani Privé Fall 2007. I went themed for the whole day, taking the word "silver screen" maybe to literally! ; )
